Optimise your drawing to reduce the cutting costs

  1. Try to select the sheet format that is most suitable for containing all the pieces that make up your project. If for example your project needs 4 size A4 sheets to contain all the pieces, it is better to opt for an A2 format and position all the pieces in this single sheet (if, of course, the thickness is the same for all the pieces).
  2. Try to respect the rule of maintaining the minimum hole diameter equal to the sheet thickness, so that cutting will be carried out at normal speed and not in pulsed (slower).
  3. Remember that  you can draw all the pieces you want inside the ordered sheet (space) if you respect the technological limits of the laser cutting. The secret for reducing cutting costs is to optimise the nesting, minimising material waste.
